Feeding the Mythic Sky: A Night of Sacred Storytelling

Sacred Money Studios and Prosperity Pie Shoppe presents:

Feeding the Mythic Sky: A Night of Sacred Storytelling
Featuring Storyteller Brian Rohr
When: Saturday, February 17, 7:00-9:00pm
Location: 7814 SW Capitol Hwy, Portland, OR 97219
Cost: Suggested donation of $10 though no one will be turned away.

In honor of the mysteries and magic of the old stories, Sacred Money Studio’s presents an evening of rich ancient storytelling with professional Storyteller Brian Rohr.  Please join us, as we engage in one of the oldest acts known to humanity, listening to the old stories as a community. In his performance, Feeding the Mythic Sky: An Evening of Sacred Storytelling, Rohr invites the listener to follow the ageless wisdom inherent in the old stories, utilizing the drum and the spoken word to help us journey to a place where we ourselves live, breath and dance among the ancient tales. Brian will once again be joined by that master of sound, Hamid Bennett.

Everyone is welcome.  It will be a suggested donation of $10 though no one will be turned away.  If you cannot bring money, please bring something else to offer – fresh vegetables from your garden, homemade jam, beautiful weavings, fermented veggies, honey from your bees, a unique original poem handwritten on special parchment, eggs from your chickens… you get the idea!  Something unique, local and special.  If you can’t bring that, then just bring yourself.
